When I took over the Meta Ads account at Ecom NSL, the brand had good products and an engaged social following — but no structured advertising system behind it. Campaigns were being launched reactively, budgets were not tied to performance data, and there was no clear framework for deciding what to scale and what to kill.
The cosmetics market in Bangladesh is crowded and price-sensitive. Ad costs climb fast when you target the wrong people, and customers rarely buy from a brand the first time they see it. The business needed more than “running ads” — it needed a repeatable system that could turn cold audiences into paying customers, profitably.
That became my job for the next five months.
I owned the Meta Ads account end to end: campaign planning and structure, audience research and segmentation, budget allocation, creative and copy testing, Meta Pixel and conversion tracking, daily performance monitoring, and weekly and monthly reporting to management.
I worked alongside the design and content teams to keep creatives fresh and aligned with what the data was telling us.
Stage 1
Reach-optimized campaigns introduced the brand to new audiences at extremely low cost. One awareness campaign alone reached more than 167,000 people at just $0.12 per 1,000 people reached.
Stage 2
Generated conversations, video views and social proof — reducing messaging cost to as low as $0.17 per qualified conversation.
Stage 3
Built a Facebook review community that became one of the strongest conversion assets by building trust before purchase.
Stage 4
Purchase campaigns optimized using Meta Pixel data and real customer behaviour.
Stage 5
Dedicated audiences brought warm prospects back to complete their purchase:

The tracked revenue is only part of the outcome. Five months of structured media buying also left the brand with assets that keep working long after the campaigns ended:
Warm audiences generate the highest profitability — retargeting and engaged followers consistently outperformed cold traffic.
Pausing losing campaigns quickly protected the budget and kept overall return on ad spend healthy.
Creative fatigue reduces conversions if ignored — launching fresh creatives early kept performance stable.
Let’s build a performance marketing strategy that focuses on measurable growth, efficient advertising spend, and sustainable customer acquisition.
